DEA Seminar Brochure Nov 6th-7th, 2009
The incidence and prevalence rates of diabetes (Type 1, type 2, Gestational and Hybrid) are increasing dramatically. Studies reported by the Canadian Diabetes Association show that anyone born in or after the year 2000 has a one in three chance of developing diabetes in their lifetime. This will impact diabetes care, education and clinical practice now and in the future.
Think about taking a seminar from trained professionals in diabetes care to increase your knowledge and how to manage this disease. Doreen Hatton and Gloria Kuffner are both DES members and certified diabetes educators.
