Positive Space and Equity

The School of Nursing is committed to the University's principles of equity and fairness. It seeks to create a learning environment in which all staff, students, faculty and visitors can feel safe, supported and valued.

The Positive Space Campaign is coordinated by UBC's Equity Office, to make sure all persons feel comfortable within the UBC Community. Angela Henderson and Pamela Ratner are faculty resource persons for Positive Space for the School of Nursing, and are available to answer any questions or concerns.

For other Equity issues, Gloria Joachim and Angela Henderson serve as the SoN Equity Committee and assist the School in ensuring that we understand and work effectively with the University Equity Policies and BC's Human Rights Code.
