Taking Non-UBC Courses While in the Nursing Program

Undergraduate Students
Students must have a filed "letter of permission" form signed by an academic advisor to take non-UBC courses while in the program. The student is responsible for ensuring that a transcript is sent to the School of Nursing upon completion of the course(s). The Undergraduate Records Office will notify the Registrar's Office for granting of credit for the completed course(s).

Graduate Students:
Graduate students may take up to 12 credits of course work at another university. The university has an arrangement, called the Western Deans Agreement, with a number of other universities to enable graduate students to take courses without paying additional fees.
