Appropriate Use of Information Technology

The School of Nursing provides students in each of its programs with access to computers and information technology in the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) (accessible to all students), the Graduate Research Labs (T220 and T293 (accessible to graduate students). In order to monitor use, students using these labs may be asked for their identification at any time.

This service is provided to support access and use of information for academic and scholarly work and is subject to the University policies regarding the appropriate use of information technology. It is the responsibility of any person using the computers in the School of Nursing to know and abide by these policies. Individuals who violate the policies will be subject to a loss of privileges in the School as well as further action as specified in the UBC appropriate use policy.
