The University regulations stipulate a maximum amount of time that will be permitted for completion of the various degrees. It is the student's responsibility to be aware of his or her own length of time in the program, and to consider options such as a formal Leave of Absence if necessary to ensure that there is sufficient time to complete all degree requirements. Failure to complete all degree requirements in the allotted time will mean that the degree is not awarded.
Students entering the Basic Baccalaureate Program must meet the degree requirements within four years of beginning their first nursing course.
Post RN students must normally meet all requirements within a maximum of six years.
MSN students must normally meet all requirements within a maximum of five years.
PhD students must normally meet all requirements within a maximum of six years.
