Policies and Procedures

You are required to complete a comprehensive examination within 24 months of your admission to the PhD Program. An oral candidacy examination (PDF)(Word) must be completed within 36 months of your admission.

You are expected to know and comply with University regulations and policies. In addition, the Faculty of Graduate Studies and the School of Nursing have established polices, practices, and procedures that must be followed. If you have questions about the implications of these regulations, policies, and practices, please consult the Graduate Advisor.

Some Important Considerations

Students are expected to conform to Policy #85, Scholarly Integrity as they are expected to conform to all other university policies. It is a requirement of all students that a memorandum of understanding related to intellectual property be completed and jointly signed with their supervisor.
