Educational Technology Lab

The Educational Technology Lab serves as a central resource in support of preparation for and completion of academic work. In the process of becoming professional practitioners, students are expected to assume an ever-increasing role for their own learning. This includes coming to classes prepared, contributing to the success of the learning environment for themselves and others and recognizing when help is needed and seeking it out appropriately.

Computers and learning resource material are available to students in a friendly, open access environment. During regular hours students may come to access many of the required and supplemental resources including videotapes and DVDs, computer assisted instruction programs, etc. Students may also come to conduct literature searches or access online resources using high-speed internet, meet with student work groups or study independently.

Staff are available for consultation and to provide assistance to nursing students, faculty and staff to effectively utilize resources, including A-V equipment, computer software and hardware.
