The UBC School of Nursing is currently inviting applications for a Sessional Lecturer position in Term 1 of Summer Session 2012 to teach the following course;
N556 Seminar- Correlational Designs and Analysis in Educational Research (3 credits) Correlation, including partial, multiple, and curvilinear; regression methods in testing linear hypotheses; extended treatment of analysis of variance and covariance.
The seminar is given Monday and Wednesday, from 1:00 to 4:00pm.
The successful applicant must have a PhD in a health or social science with advance preparation in statistical techniques, including correlational design. A minimum of three years of experience in research is required, including conducting quantitative research. Experience in teaching, specifically classroom teaching, and teaching statistical techniques is required. Salary will be commensurate with level of educational preparation and experience.
