Reunion Planning Guide
Thinking of holding a class reunion?
Whether it has been 5, 25, or 50 years since you graduated, holding a class reunion
is a great way to reacquaint yourself with your UBC classmates, expand your professional
network and learn about the new advances that are taking place at the UBC School of
Nursing.
Reunions say as much about the future as they do about the past and the UBC School of
Nursing has a proud past and exciting future that would not have been made possible
without you. You have made, and continue to make, a difference to the health of British
Columbians, Canadians and the world.
The class reunion committee members planning your reunion can count on the assistance
of the
APSC Alumni Relations Manager.
Planning and organizing a reunion is rewarding but involves plenty of work too. You
need to write letters of invitation choose a venue and plan a program. Our staff members
are there every step of the way to provide you with a lass list, ideas for programs,
encouragement and a wealth of experience.
Reunions are a wonderful opportunity to build on a legacy and provide future opportunities
for nursing students. Other classes have stepped forward to support our undergraduates
through scholarships, awards, and providing mentoring opportunities. Please
contact us
with any inquiries you might have about making a donation.
Congratulations again, and remember the UBC motto: “Tu em est” (It is yours). The UBC
School of Nursing is your alma mater and always will be.
